Craig Allen brings to Spark Unlimited more than ten years of
experience
in managing creative production, launching new consumer brands and
articulating franchise opportunities to a diverse range of partners
while understanding how to nurture and grow new global business by
pursuing collaborative programs as they become enabled through new
technology.
Mr. Allen was formally the Executive Vice President and
General Manager
of Jim Henson Interactive where he was the primary creative architect
behind The Jim Henson Company's expanded digital media activities - a
program that allowed Mr. Allen to work individually and collaboratively
with a wide variety of companies ranging from traditional media groups
(television networks, film studios and magazines) to emerging and new
media concerns working to deploy online entertainment, wireless gaming
networks, and enhanced consumer products.
While Mr. Allen was able to form strategic and business
relationships
with a wide variety of corporate partners (including Sony Computer
Entertainment, Ubisoft, Microsoft, AOL/Time Warner, IBM, Intel, AMD,
Andi Networks, Vivendi Universal, TDK MediActive and The Disney
Channel,
among others) Mr. Allen is particularly proud of his contributions to
the formation of the Henson Digital Performance System, a process for
bringing live performance to digital graphics that received the 2001
Smithsonian Award for Outstanding Achievement in Media and Technology.
Scott Langteau Chief Operating Officer
Chief Operating Officer Scott Langteau has more than
eight years and over 10 titles of game production experience and
contributes to Spark Unlimited an understanding for creating
high-quality historically accurate immersive action games while
managing
large teams requiring multimillion dollar budgets.
Prior to joining Spark Unlimited, Mr. Langteau played a
substantial role
as part of the production team responsible for every MEDAL OF HONOR
title produced for a console system by Electronic Arts. Mr. Langteau's
leadership on Electronic Arts' MEDAL OF HONOR series has resulted in
tremendous critical and popular success for a franchise that has sold
over nine million units (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER 4.14.03)
Avi Bachar VP of Finance
Avi Joined Spark Unlimited as Controller in November
2007 and assumed the role of VP of Finance in April 2008. He directs
the firm’s financial and accounting functions and
manages Spark’s programs such as corporate governance and insurance.
Prior to joining Spark Unlimited, Avi served as VP Finance
& Administration for Artwork Systems and Esko Graphics, both
software developers for the graphic arts and printing industries. He
also served as a financial consultant for PackageX, an international
internet company providing solutions for packaging and prepress
professionals and was an assistant VP of Finance at Brentwood
Associated, a private equity investment firm based in Los Angeles. He
graduated from California State University of Northridge, where he
received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master
degree in finance from California State University of Los Angeles.
