Avi Bachar brings to Spark Unlimited more that 15 years of experience in managing software development companies. Avi was formally the Vice President of Finance & Administration of Dimensional Impression and Artwork Systems, global suppliers and integrators of innovative solutions for packaging design, commercial printing, and professional publishing. Avi helped Dimensional Impressions spin off packageX, a developer of web-based software for integrated brand management and packaging worldwide where he was in charge of operations and helped raising $17M in seed capital.
Prior to working in the software development industry , Avi spent 5 years at Brentwood Associated, a private equity investment firm based in Los Angeles. He graduated from California State University of Northridge, where he received a bachelorís degree in business administration and a master degree in finance from California State University of Los Angeles.
Avi joined Spark Unlimited in November 2007 and assumed the role of VP of Finance. In November 2009, Avi was elevated to the position of CFO and has been directing Sparkís financial and operational functions including corporate governance, legal and insurance programs. In January of 2012 Avi also assumed the role of COO and has been in charge of the day to day management of the studio operations.
Craig Allen brings to Spark Unlimited more than ten years of experience in managing creative production, launching new consumer brands and articulating franchise opportunities to a diverse range of partners while understanding how to nurture and grow new global business by pursuing collaborative programs as they become enabled through new technology.
Mr. Allen was formally the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Jim Henson Interactive where he was the primary creative architect behind The Jim Henson Company's expanded digital media activities - a program that allowed Mr. Allen to work individually and collaboratively with a wide variety of companies ranging from traditional media groups (television networks, film studios and magazines) to emerging and new media concerns working to deploy online entertainment, wireless gaming networks, and enhanced consumer products.
While Mr. Allen was able to form strategic and business relationships with a wide variety of corporate partners (including Sony Computer Entertainment, Ubisoft, Microsoft, AOL/Time Warner, IBM, Intel, AMD, Andi Networks, Vivendi Universal, TDK MediActive and The Disney Channel, among others) Mr. Allen is particularly proud of his contributions to the formation of the Henson Digital Performance System, a process for bringing live performance to digital graphics that received the 2001 Smithsonian Award for Outstanding Achievement in Media and Technology.
Mr. Butrovich brings to Spark Unlimited over twenty years of industry experience defining and implementing cost-effective solutions for multi-national, worldwide video game publishers.
With an expert-level knowledge and proficiency in technical management of game development projects covering coding standards, software and architecture, protocols and deployment. Mr. Butrovich is helping to grow the company from an early stage start-up to a mature organization with best-of-class systems and forward-looking technology.
Prior to joining Spark Unlimited, Mr. Butrovich as a founding employee and vice President at NovaLogicTM where he provided hands-on leadership, guidance and expertise to drive corporate initiatives and R&D for all operations growing the company into a worldwide developer/publisher with over 100 employees and over twenty million dollars in sales. Mr. Butrovich also worked as a key development manager, leading efforts that created the best-selling ARMORED FISTTM, COMANCHETM, and DELTA FORCETM franchises.
